Police were called to Wethersfield Cove off of Main Street in Wethersfield around 7 p.m. after a 2004 Honda Pilot ended up in the drink. The three people inside were able to escape unharmed.

Wethersfield Police have deemed the incident as "suspicious."

The driver told officers that the car's brakes failed, and the SUV rolled into the water, where it sank.
